Allyson + Jonathan | Black Forest Regional Park, Colorado Springs, CO

This is my third (or fourth, if you count extended family photos!) time shooting Allyson and Jonathan and honestly, it is always such a privilege. I love getting to document the milestones in their relationship! Our first shoot together was for their engagement photos in Fox Run park a few years ago. Last year, we met back up for another session at Red Rocks Open Space before Jonathan had to go to basic training. This year, we were in Black Forest Regional Park celebrating the upcoming arrival of their first little babe!

Allyson asked me for a location that felt magical--and the way the sunlight hits during golden hour makes this forest look like it's literally enchanted. She wore the most gorgeous blue dress and we had some fun with it too, because it was perfect. These two had the best attitudes through a bit of a frosty session, but we're so glad we got some snow in a few of the shots.
